On Colorful Faces

I'm not an avid fan of make-up. In fact, I only use baby powder on my face and apply a little lipstick when I go out of the house. I don't even retouch with powder when my face gets oily, unless there's spare powder on my palm after refreshing my kids' back with it. I only use pressed powder and blush-on when I'll be meeting up with some friends. I may say, I'm tamad when it comes to things like these. I even remember that I was able to regularly put on heavy make-up only when I landed a job in Makati where I worked as an Executive Secretary, I was already told during my interview that I'm required to put on make-up as the job requires for it. So I didn't had a choice.

It was just recently, that I paid attention to this. Only because, there are a lot of blogs that has reviews on different make-up and they eventually hold giveaways for some of the products that they tried. And also, I was able to attend some workshops on make-up application, was even given the chance to have a make over in some of these workshops.

I admit that I learned a lot from those workshops that I've attended. It really caught my attention, most specially when I observe some bloggers who are really into it. I'm not saying that I'll put on make-up regularly from now on, but I realized that there are instances that I have to do it, not just for the sake of being pretty cause I know all are created with pretty faces, we just have to learn to appreciate. It gives me a sense of confidence and brings out the little kikay thingy in me.

These are actually the only pieces that I'm using (I haven't tried the lip palette yet):

Maybe, if given the chance and budget for it, I'll buy items every now and then and explore how colorful I can work on my face.
